The song was good, the cat's adorable, however this classifies as spam. I'm guessing that by "I want him!", you mean that he isn't even your cat and you've just posted a picture you found so you can promote the band. Trying to promote them, in and of itself, isn't a bad thing, but that is what journals and the forums are for.

Plus, you've picked a picture of a kitty to promote a punk/alt rock band, so you're probably not exactly reaching the target audience :) Not that people who like punk music dislike kittens, but still.

There's lots of special interest groups here on DA where you could promote this band. Just go to the Groups section and search for 'music', loads come up. I'm sure they'd be much more ready to give it a listen and you'd probably get more constructive feedback than just 'naw, cute kitty'.
